W jej trakcie blogerka przytyła ponad 24 kilogramy. Bezpośrednio po porodzie, Kalsey podjęła działania, które miałyby ją przybliżyć do formy sprzed ciąży. Pierwszym krokiem było skorzystanie z programu treningowego Kayli Itsines – trenerki personalnej. W momencie rozpoczęcia programu odchudzającego, jej waga pokazywała 56 kilogramów. Po zakończeniu wynik ten znacząco się zmienił. Waga pokazywała 64 kilogramy. Te 8 dodatowych kilogramów to była sucha masa mięśniowa. Mimo że waga pokazywała większą wartość, to skład ciała pokazywał mniejszą wartość procentową tkanki tłuszczowej. Dzięki diecie i programowi treningowemu, Kalsey Wells diametralnie zmieniła swoją sylwetkę. Jak oceniacie jej metamorfozę?

8 WKS POST-BABY to 84 WKS OF BBG || Of the million things running through my mind that I want to share with you guys about my #bbgprogress and what I have learned since beginning @kayla_itsines program, most important is first and foremost that I am HEALTHIER and HAPPIER than I ever have been. I am kinder to myself. I am confident in myself. Not just in my ability to jump on a box or do commandos, but in WHO I AM. As a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and in being unapologetically my imperfect SELF. Through #BBG I found my passion for fitness and healthy living and it is truly a journey of growing mentally and emotionally as well as physically. I AM BETTER THAN NO ONE. No one is better than anyone. We are each 100% one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. We each have our own struggles, strengths, and stories. And we EACH deserve to be happy, healthy, and BELIEVE IN OURSELVES. || I'm so thankful for my (continuing) #bbgtransformation and all that has come along with striving to live a healthier lifestyle. And you guys!!! As cheesy as it sounds, it is LITERALLY SO TRUE so imma say it anyway -- if I can do it, SO CAN YOU. || . . . . . #mysweatlife #getoutandsweat #happy #healthy #fitmom #sweat #sweatwithkayla #fit #fitness #fitchick #fitnesstransformation #beforeandafter #fitfam #workout #girlswithmuscle #girlgains #bbgfam #bbglife #bbgmums #bbgmoms #bbgbabes

YOU CAN || When I took the photo on the left, everything about it bothered me. Now I know the only thing that should have bothered me is that I'm not smiling. If I thought I would ever in a million years be sharing it, I would have faked a smile I'm sure. That photo is still hard for me to look at, not because I am ashamed of my post-partum body, but because it reminds me so sharply of what was going on internally, and I'm sad that I ever was ashamed of my body at all. For those of you thinking "oh it's easy for you to say that now because look at you now" I want to make something clear- my self love and respect and appreciation for my body is not based on how it looks, and yours shouldn't be either. As long as we let our happiness be solely dependent on what we see in the mirror, we will NEVER be happy. Yes, my mental and emotional progress happened alongside my physical progress, but the beautiful thing is that I started being happy with what I saw in the mirror far before I started seeing abs in the mirror. The cool thing is it really all goes hand-in-hand. I began @kayla_itsines #bbg program because I wanted to look a certain way. I started and stopped a lot and was more discouraged with each try because I thought I had failed. Then I began realizing that I FELT better mentally when I was working out each day! My motivation to be healthy and active shifted as I began doing my best because I wanted to take care of my body, and the easier it became because I really started to understand my body DESERVED to be taken care of.️ You CAN do it. You CAN eat healthy. You CAN reach your goals. You CAN find your strength. You CAN begin again and you CAN be what and who you want to be. But you absolutely won't if YOU don't believe you can. So get on board with your bad self! Become your biggest fan. Do your best every damn day and love yourself along the way.️ . . . . . #bbgprogress #bbggirls #bbgbabes #bbgcommunity #bbgsisters #bbgmoms #bbgmums #sweat #thesweatlife #mysweatlife #transformation #transformationtuesday #beforeandafter #fit #fitness #fitspo #fitchick #fitmom #mombod #fitfam #getoutandsweat #workout #motivation

It took me a long time to figure out how to love my body. How to be thankful for all it does instead of beating her up for all she's not. For the girl in the first three photos, the moments of confidence were the exception, not the rule. In the photo on the far left, though I was unhealthily underweight, I still genuinely thought I could lose a couple pounds. I couldn't see myself clearly. Up until I began @kayla_itsines #bbg program I believed self-confidence would come from looking a certain way or being a certain weight or fitting into a certain size. The girl on the right knows that could not be farther from the truth. For those of you thinking "well that's easy for you to say now because you hit your goals" please listen when I say that my confidence grew far before my muscles and my self love developed from how I treated my body, not how it looked. // I used to absolutely hate the first three photos and looked at them with embarrassment. Now, I look at them with pride. This body of mine has been through a lot in my short "adulthood" -- through it all, and for the most part inspite of how I viewed and treated it, it has carried me through. It has healed and grown a tiny human and healed again. It has kept safe my beating heart and literally allowed me to LIVE. I can see now that THAT alone is nothing short of miraculous. This is why I always emphasize my mental and emotional #transformation and #BBGprogress is by far the greatest and most important. Why I talk a lot more about #selflove than how to "get abs". Because our bodies are amazing. YOUR BODY IS AMAZING. Right now, just how it is. It is time to STOP comparison and negativity and start nurturing confidence. Time to start telling yourself you're a ONE-OF-A-KIND FIERCELY BEAUTIFUL MF QUEEN -- then start treating your body as the miracle it is watch as you begin to actually believe it. // I love you guys. FOOD DIARY : Meal 1: muscle milk protein drink, fresh watermelon. Snack 1: protein bar, grapes. Meal 2: chicken parm over whole wheat pasta w/marinara. Snack 2: half protein bar, fresh watermelon. Meal 3: THE BEST Caesar salad I just made up - (protein fortified bow tie pasta, romaine lettuce, grilled chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, light Caesar salad dressing). Desert: Greek yogurt, almond granola, fresh pineapple. Full day comes to just under 2200 calories.|| BABES!!! Holy cow I SLAYED #BBG #legs today. Seriously this was the best workout I have had in awhile and it just felt SO GOOD! How did you slay your day!? Maybe you were extra patient when your toddler colored all over your white entertainment center with blue crayon (true story). Maybe you didn't entertain gossip. Maybe you squeezed a workout into an already full schedule. Maybe you took a shower! (Any new mommas out there you KNOW that's an accomplishment.) Maybe you made dinner and cleaned the house! Or maybe it was one of those days where all you did was manage to keep yourself and your kids alive. Whatever your day looked like, I hope you recognize you SLAYED. And I hope you have a wonderful evening. HAPPY FREAKIN #WEEKEND PEOPLE! And happy #veteransday to my fellow Americans.️ // Got my #bbg #abs in this morning as well as some serious HIIT in the form of pushing a 300lb sled. It was killer but I loved it!! ALSO BEST DAY EVER because I am finally reunited with some @plantronics headphones. I accidentally left my last pair (along with case and charging cable) on my flight home from NYC and geez did I miss them! Hopefully whoever found them is at least putting them to good use. // Now time to put away piles of laundry. I'm so glamorous. Have a wonderous #friday and don't forget to #sweat !! . . . . #workout #active #fit #fitness #fitspo #fitchick #fitlife #fitmom #happy #healthy #girlswithmuscles #bbgmoms #bbgmums #bbgcommunity #bbgbabes #mysweatlife

So I just pulled into the gym and Anderson is of course dead asleep in the car because he of course refused to nap today. Hence I get to chill and mentally prepare to smash some #BBG #arms when he awakes. || It's no secret I hate arm day.. (thanks @kayla_itsines for calling me out at the NYC #sweattour2016 ) but ya know what? I DO IT ANYWAY. Because even though I hate training arms, I love seeing progress. When I began BBG my arms and shoulders were by far my weakest, and though I still don't enjoy my arms circuits, at least I can do them! Sure, my progress has been slow and steady but for me this has never been about getting quickly "shredded" or "making gains". (Nothing wrong with that of course!) But my point is I needed a program that fit my busy lifestyle and didn't consume it. I needed something flexible and do-able year round. Something I could stick to that brought maintainable results. That is what BBG is and that is how these baby muscles have been grown. And THAT is what I love. I love the feeling I get at the end of my workout knowing that I DID IT. Little by little, one circuit, one workout at a time. THAT'S HOW WE DO IT. . . . . . #bbgbabes #bbgcommunity #bbggirls #bbgfam #bbgmoms #bbgmums #bbgsisters #bbglife #fitmom #fitness #fitfam #fit #workout #fitspo #fitchick #mysweatlife #sweat #girlswithmuscles #girlgains
